Verification
New members confirm with their Discord login on evil6.com and only then get access.
Admins · Manage Server
Verification keeps your server for real people: new members confirm with their Discord login on evil6.com and only then get the roles that let them see the rest of the server. Bots and raid accounts stay in the waiting area.
Setup #
- Create a role
For example “Verified”. It must be below Evil6’s role.
- Lock the channels
@everyone only sees the verification channel; open all other channels to the new role.
- Post the notice
/verificationwith a channel and 1–5 roles – Evil6 posts the notice with the verification link.
What members do #
They open the link in the notice, log in with Discord on evil6.com and get the roles right away. Members who already have the roles are left alone – verifying twice does no harm.
Which roles work #
- Every role must be below Evil6’s role – and below your own highest role unless you are the owner.
- Roles with dangerous permissions are blocked: Administrator, Ban, Kick, Manage Roles/Channels/Server, Manage Messages, Timeout and mention @everyone.
Manage Roles
Evil6 needs the “Manage Roles” permission to hand out the roles. More about permissions
In the dashboard
The roles can also be changed in the dashboard. The notice itself is posted in Discord – to move it, run
/verification in the new channel.
