Social Alerts post in your Discord when a YouTube channel uploads a new video or a Twitch channel goes live – with a ping role and your own text if you like.

YouTube #

/youtube add with a channel link, @handle or channel ID (e.g. youtube.com/@MrBeast) and the Discord channel for the message. Optional: a role to ping, your own text and whether Shorts are announced too (default: no).

Evil6 checks for new videos every 3 minutes; YouTube itself often needs 5–15 minutes until a video shows up in its feed. Videos that are already out aren’t announced afterwards. Placeholders for the text: {channel}, {title}, {url}.

Twitch #

/twitch add with a Twitch name or link (e.g. twitch.tv/shroud) and the Discord channel. Optional: a ping role and your own text with {streamer}, {title}, {game}, {url}. If the stream is live right now, the first message comes with the next stream.

Limits #

Up to 5 YouTube and 5 Twitch channels per server, 25 each with the server subscription. Without it, entries over the limit are paused – the oldest five stay active.

Ping role For the role to really be pinged, it must be mentionable – or Evil6 needs the “Mention All Roles” permission.

In the dashboard Under Dashboard → Social Alerts you add YouTube and Twitch channels, change channel, role and text and see when the last message went out.
